Fox Valley Heart Foundation Nursing Scholarships Awarded to Waubonsee Community College Students

In an effort to empower and encourage local students to pursue healthcare careers, the Fox Valley Heart Foundation (FVHF) has created the Fox Valley Heart Foundation Scholarships. Each year, $6000 is awarded to local nursing program recipients to help realize their nursing goals. The FVHF believes that given the right resources, these talented individuals can impact their lives, their families, and their communities in meaningful ways.

This year, the Waubonsee Community College recipients' were Julie Jensen-Finch and Eduardo Estrada (pictured here). The scholarships may be used to cover educational expenses including tuition and fees, room and board, books and equipment.
